Hello everyone, I have some queries to everyone.

    • Why we use multi-line TRL rather than single line TRL? (Only for increasing the frequency range or it also improves the performance)
    • Basically, is there any difference between multi-line TRL and TRL - except the advantage of large frequency range...
    • Is multi-line TRL works well in all types of transmission line?
    • Only the changing line after transition frequency (in which it extends 160 degree) is the main thing of multiline TRL?

    Thanks to everyone advance.

Some multi-line TRL compute a frequency weighted average, thus if you overlap the lines, you won’t get the discontinuity at the transition frequency. Yes though, it allows wider bandwidth than a single line.
