What happens when you use a reactive combiner in an SSPA? Isolation between amplifiers is not good, but what does that actually affect? And what about the non-Z0 impedance match on the combined ports... does that load-pull the power amps? Seems like it would. Any references on this would be great!

I think I can answer my own question... the amplifiers should see a good match with a reactive combiner. This is apparent when the amplifier is analyzed in even mode where both ports are excited equally.
