History of PIM (Passive Inter-Modulation products)
Does anyone know a review article or book on the history of Passive Inter-Modulation issues associated with high power microwave electronics in cell base station or even PIM in general? Greatly appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.
I don't know a book on this, but there are a lot of articles and documents on PIM in cell base stations. However, they are not a summarized history of PIM. Maybe this can help you anyway:
3GPP - Passive Intermodulation (PIM) handling for Base Stations (BS)
Microwave Journal - Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Testing Moves to the Base Station
Cai 2022 - Passive Intermodulation Measurement: Challenges and Solutions
All of the pages on Microwaves101 on PIM were contributed by Jack Kouzoujian, maybe 20 years ago. He was (is?) the head of Matrix Test Equipment. If you can find him, he could be a lot of help.
